Intertech Proud to Be on the COTA Team

The arrival of the Circuit of the Americas Formula 1 racing in Austin last year created a tremendous boost to the local economy, and we are proud to say that Intertech Flooring was part of this fantastic project. With Formula 1 racing returning to Central Texas in just a few , we were reminded of what a great team collaboration this project represented.

The Intertech team worked with the German architects/engineers from Tilke and the owner’s rep in selecting the flooring finishes from the outset of design development. After the local architects were selected, Intertech assisted in keeping the building design consistent and the project on budget.

General contractor Austin Commercial knew that fast-track (pardon the pun) construction experience would be critical for any contractor chosen for this landmark racing facility. In addition, the owners of this high-profile venue wanted a high-quality look while being very dollar conscious. Having worked with Austin Commercial on numerous previous projects, Intertech Commercial Flooring had established a solid reputation for fast-track, on-budget performance and was a natural fit for Austin Construction’s next job.
