San Antonio Team Makes Headlines

We were honored to have Intertech’s innovative – and award-winning –  work in San Antonio make the headlines this month in San Antonio Construction News.  CN noted that Intertech is making its mark in the San Antonio market with numerous projects using its Supercap pump truck which is changing the game for concrete application and leveling. The San Antonio branch’s recent Supercap projects include:

  • The University Health System’s new Sky Tower, a 12-story, 1.1 million-sq.ft. facility on track to become LEED Gold certified. General contractor Vaughn Construction partnered with national contractor, Layton Construction, and local San Antonio contractor, Zachry Construction Corporation, forming the joint venture company Zachry Vaughn Layton (ZVL), to perform the work.
  • The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, for which Intertech recently won a national Starnet Award. Watch for our upcoming blog on the Tobin Center project. Guiding that project was a joint venture of Linbeck Group LLC of Houston and San Antonio’s Zachry Construction Corp.
  • The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio project, which transformed an historic 12-story downtown building into a state-of-the-art facility for children’s health care. It was great to work with Bartlett Cocke General Contractors on this amazing renovation.

“While our concrete leveling work is positively impacting project costs and timelines to meet lean construction standards, our team also continues to provide the full scope of commercial flooring products and services – from carpet and tile, to raised access flooring and ongoing maintenance,” said Mark Jones, vice president and San Antonio general manager.
