Bill Imhoff - PRESIDENT / CEO

Bill Imhoff

PRESIDENT / CEO

Prior to forming Intertech in 1988, Bill gained extensive experience in the flooring distribution business with LD Brinkman and with a national commercial flooring contracting firm. He graduated with a bachelor’s in marketing, and a minor in business law, from The University of Texas at Austin. He has been an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Community Impact winner, and a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and Inc. Magazine. Other accolades include International Facility Managers Association Associate of the Year; Associated General Contractors of America’s honoree for outstanding commitment to construction craft training; and ACG Austin Associate of the Year.

He served two terms as chairman of WorkSource, the Capital Area Workforce Development Board, and is its 2012 Distinguished Board Member. He has chaired the Construction Sector of Austin @ Work, served on the Construction Steering Committee of the Capitol Area Training Foundation and was a board member of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

Terry Bessire

VP Operations, Austin

Terry is one of the original founding members of Intertech Flooring. Prior to joining Intertech in 1988, Terry spent ten years with Carpet Resources in Houston as a commercial flooring sales representative and project manager. In 1986 Terry moved to Austin to establish a Carpet Resources branch office. He remained with Carpet Resources until August 1988 when he joined the newly formed Intertech Flooring. He has been instrumental in growing the company from a single location to a regional presence with four branches.

Scott Richter

VP Operations, DFW

Scott joined Intertech in 1992 as a flooring installer and foreman on large projects. In 1995, he was promoted to project manager in Intertech’s San Antonio office where he led teams on numerous high-profile projects. In 2007, he relocated to the Rio Grande Valley to open and manage Intertech’s newest location there. He is a graduate of Houston Community College’s two-year apprenticeship program. Prior to joining Intertech, he worked as a field estimator for four years with Carpet Resources.

Mark Jones

VP Operations, San Antonio

Mark joined Intertech Flooring at its inception in 1988 as one of four employees that formed the key management group still in place today. During the development of Intertech Flooring, he helped assemble an in-house labor apprentice program, the most comprehensive educational program for installation in the flooring industry. Previously, Mark worked for a flooring subcontractor, Carpet Resources, in Houston, Dallas and Austin. He is a 2002 graduate of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Lab Class.

Richard Garcia

Director – Concrete Operations

Richard joined Intertech in 2012 with over 25 years in construction field management. He was intrigued by Intertech’s partnership and acquisition of the Laticrete Supercap Self-Leveling Pump Truck System. After years of reactively solving concrete moisture and self-leveling problems using traditional methods he saw this new technology as a proactive breakthrough with its remarkable delivery of volume, speed and quality. He has been at the forefront of managing and introducing this advanced system to the Texas construction industry. Richard and his team have poured over 3 million sf of Supercap and being one of Intertech’s brand pillars by providing GC’s with single source convenience and accountability, constructing commercial flooring from the slab up through any and all wear surfaces.

Vicente Garza

Operations Manager Rio Grande Valley

Vicente Joined Intertech in August 2008 as a project coordinator, he was promoted to project manager in 2012 and ran the rapidly growing hard tile division. Soon after, he also managed all project estimating for the Rio Grande Valley branch of Intertech. In November of 2014, Vicente was promoted to operations manager of the RGV Office.

Vicente has been responsible for winning and finishing many of Intertech’s best projects including; Kingsville Naval Air Station, Donna Port of Entry, Rio Grande City High School, Harlingen & McAllen VA Hospitals, Edinburg ISD Performing Arts Center, University of Texas Pan American Academic Building & Performing arts Center and numerous projects with South Texas College.

Cindy DeMarco, PHR

Human Resources

Cindy joined Intertech Flooring in 2012 with over 15 years of Human Resources experience. She has experience working in both large and small companies in a variety of industries including, manufacturing, healthcare and professional services. Prior to joining Intertech, Cindy was the H R Manager for the global headquarters of Exide Technologies in Atlanta. Cindy is a Certified Professional in Human Resources and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

Terrance Prashad

Maintenance Operations Manager

Terrance joined Intertech Flooring in 2006 working with the warehouse team to bring the inventory stocking and tracking system into the digital age. In 2007 he was promoted to Operations Manager of Intertech’s Maintenance Division where he is hands-on, growing the business and managing the day to day operations. Terrance has distinguished the division by solving many flooring maintenance challenges that both manufacturers and end-users have grown to appreciate as his team keeps workplaces clean and healthy. Graduated from Queens Royal College and the Polytechnic Institute of Trinidad and Tobago. Terrance and his family immigrated to the USA in 2006.
