I’m sure that you, like I, have received dozens of emails from vendors in recent days regarding their COVID-19 business plans. While it may seem repetitive to say, I want to assure you that the health and safety of our associates is and always has been our top priority.
Like many of you, we are taking extraordinary steps to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on our business and communities as we continue to serve our customers’ critical business needs. We are closely monitoring the dynamic situation, including government guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
We continue to operate Intertech Flooring at full capacity to ensure your projects maintain on-time construction schedules and meet customer expectations. As things are changing quickly, our employees are extending extra effort to closely communicate with you and make sure that your projects are completed with a high level of professionalism that Intertech Flooring is known for. Should you desire, we are happy to arrange video conferences to keep you current on project status. Our team is highly experienced in managing through challenging situations and has well-established processes in place to support a quick response to your needs.
To minimize the potential for an outbreak on our job sites, we will continue to practice thorough handwashing per CDC guidelines, as well as social distancing between business partners, employees and vendors. We provide employees with disposable wipes and alcohol-based hand sanitizers for wiping surfaces and personal items on job sites. Those employees whose jobs facilitate remote work are encouraged to so do.
Employees who exhibit any related symptoms must remain at home until released by their medical provider. Should they be notified of a presumed-positive or positive diagnosis, we will contact you immediately with details on worksite location(s) and dates.
Should you need further information, please feel free to contact me or your project manager.
