Bill Imhoff invited to the ABJ Leadership Trust

Intertech’s Bill Imhoff Named to Austin Business Journal Leadership Trust

The year 2020 started off with a nice honor for our own Bill Imhoff, founder and president of Intertech Flooring. We’re proud to announce that Bill has been invited to join the exclusive Austin Business Journal Leadership Trust.

The Leadership Trust is an invitation-only community for influential business leaders, executives and entrepreneurs in Central Texas. Bill was chosen for membership by the Austin Business Journal Leadership Trust Selection Committee due to his experience, leadership and influence in the local business landscape and beyond.

Bill founded Intertech Flooring in 1988 in Austin. Since then, the company has grown to locations in Austin, San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. Bill is widely regarded as one of the leading forces in the region’s commercial flooring industry. He is a leading proponent for workforce development, having served two terms as chairman of WorkSource, the Capital Area Workforce Development Board. Under Bill’s leadership, Intertech Flooring has repeatedly been honored for business innovation. Among the recognitions are Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for Community Impact, Inc 5000 and Top Specialty Contractor awards.

“Austin’s thriving business community is powered by leaders like Bill Imhoff,” said Heather Ladage, publisher of the Austin Business Journal. “We’re honored to be creating a space where the region’s business influencers come together to increase their impact on the community, build their businesses and connect with and strengthen one another.”

As an invited member, Bill will contribute articles to the Austin Business Journal website and participate alongside fellow members in Expert Panels. He also will benefit from connecting and collaborating with a vetted network of local leaders in this private forum.

“I am honored to be a part of this prestigious group,” said Bill. “It is a great opportunity to expand Intertech’s circle of influence in the Austin business community, and to share business best practices among other entrepreneurs in the region.”
