Congratulations to Vicente Garza for his recent promotion to vice president of operations at Intertech’s Rio Grande Valley (RGV) office in Mission.
Garza joined Intertech as a project coordinator in 2008. Four years later, in 2012, he was promoted to project manager and ran the rapidly growing hard tile division. Soon after, he began managing all project estimating for the RGV office. In 2014, Garza was named operations manager of the RGV office.
Garza has been responsible for winning and leading a variety of successful projects, including the McAllen Performing Arts Center, the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio South Texas Medical Academic Building, McAllen Medical Center, the Mission Event Center, the Cameron County Levee Building, First United Methodist Church McAllen, the La Joya ISD Natatorium, and numerous projects with South Texas College.
“Since joining Intertech a decade ago, Vicente been an invaluable member of our team,” said President/CEO Bill Imhoff. “The Rio Grande Valley office has seen a tremendous amount of growth under his leadership.
